What is PAN PERU?<\/span><\/h1>\n

A Cultural Association to help children, founded on\u00a0February 20, 2004<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Lima-Peru<\/strong>\u00a0 and registered as an\u00a0NGO<\/strong>\u00a0by Management Resolution\u00a0No. 0437-2005 \/ APCI-GOC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

PAN PERU<\/strong>\u00a0began its activities in\u00a0April 2004;<\/strong>\u00a0in the town of\u00a0Pampas Grande<\/strong>,\u00a0Department of\u00a0Ancash<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0The project carried out in this town was focused on the construction and implementation of\u00a0the first rural communal library in the country<\/strong>\u00a0to currently have\u00a0internet\u00a0services, a\u00a0virtual library, a<\/strong>\u00a0playroom and multi-purpose environments<\/strong>. These resources have been used to conduct training workshops for children and adults.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

What is our goal?<\/span><\/h1>\n

To contribute to the development of communities located in the most impoverished areas of the country. We do this through developing projects that increase cultural awareness and enrich the education of students.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

What have we achieved?<\/span><\/h1>\n

Pan Peru<\/strong>\u00a0has built and implemented\u00a04 Communal Children's Libraries<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0in the\u00a0Pampas Grande\u00a0District,\u00a0Huaraz Province, Department of\u00a0Ancash<\/strong>\u00a0and work is already being done to expand this network of libraries throughout the country.\u00a0Pan Peru has also built\u00a09 greenhouses<\/strong>\u00a0in the same area and developed several\u00a0health programs<\/strong>;\u00a0<\/strong>facilitating\u00a0free campaigns in medicine and dentistry.<\/p>\n

These projects have been financed by the contribution of\u00a0PAN PERU members<\/strong>, institutions, companies, and those residing abroad.<\/p>\n

The first Communal Children's Library<\/strong>\u00a0was inaugurated on\u00a0July 1, 2006<\/strong>\u00a0and has benefited over 1,800 children and adults.\u00a0The Library has a total area of \u200b\u200b8826 square feet\u00a0with\u00a0telephones, internet, a playroom, teacher training rooms and workshops for parents.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
